EXPORT
Some products contain
ingredients that are not permitted to be sold in Australia but
are acceptable in overseas markets. It is
possible to obtain an approval number for such products – an
AUST L number which must appear on the label.
This number permits export but not sale in
Australia.
The standard in Australia is recognised as
very high and many markets, particularly in South East Asia,
consider an AUST L number (whether for sale in Australia or
Export only) as a major step towards approval in their
markets. However a further form is usually needed – a
Certification of Pharmaceutical Product (CPP). The Consultancy
applies for and the Export Unit of the TGA issues this
certificate which is used in the approval process in the
relevant country.
The Consultancy
can prepare, submit and monitor the progress of Export
Listings and CPP certificates plus co-ordinate notarisation or
other verification where needed.
