Managing Director
Since
1988 Basil has run his own consulting business specialising in
Health Care which includes Ethical and OTC Pharmaceuticals,
Medical Devices, Natural and Complementary Medicines, and
Toiletries.
Basil is a registered pharmacist
and a Justice of the Peace. He has held senior positions
in Marketing and Management in Australia and
Internationally. These range from Director of Marketing
of a fully integrated US subsidiary in Australia, overall
operation and responsibility for a New Zealand subsidiary
operation, Planning Manager for the International Division of
Schering Plough Corporation based in New Jersey USA through to
Area Marketing Manager for South East Asia based in Hong
Kong.
During his career he has been
responsible for a wide range of disciplines including health
registration, manufacturing, quality assurance, customs and
shipping, and new product development up to the total
marketing functions including sales, planning, advertising,
public relations, market research, training and
distribution. Responsibilities have included a high
level of government liaison in both Australia and New Zealand
which still continues.
He is a member of the Complementary
Healthcare Council and for many years was a member of the
Market Research Society of Australia. He has contracted
with four Public Relations companies at Account Director
level.
Suzanne
worked as Senior Director in Basil Evans & Associates for
over 5 years and has now set up her own consulting business
in Health Care with a special emphasis on Complementary
Medicines including Herbal, Chinese, Aromatherapy and
general natural supplements and therapies.
